A general-purpose UV energy meter for the domestic market, the UV-DESIGN UV-integrator150 energy meter is suitable for applications such as mobile phone casings, PCBs, UV-cured panels, flooring and plastic buttons.

The UV-Integrator 150 can withstand temperatures of 110° on the conveyor belt for no more than 10 seconds.
Verification:
As all electronic components, particularly light sensors, tend to deteriorate over time, it is recommended that they be calibrated once a year. Furthermore, calibration should also be carried out following any battery replacement.
Shelf life: Two years from the date of purchase.
Instructions for use:
1. Press the switch on the 150 joule meter to ”ON’; the display will show ”0’.
2. Turn the joule meter upside down and place it on the conveyor belt. (The sensor is fitted to the rear of the instrument and can withstand high temperatures.)
3. Once the instrument has passed through the conveyor belt, the results can be read from the front. The UV energy will be displayed as: mJ/cm²
4. Before carrying out a new measurement procedure, you must first switch off the instrument and then switch it on again. The display will reset to ”0’. You may then proceed as described in step 2.
Points to note:
1. Please avoid shaking the instrument.
2. Do not look directly at the UV lamp, nor allow your gaze to pass through it via refraction or reflection; ensure that no part of your body is exposed to direct UV light.

The Joule Meter 150 is used to measure the UV energy emitted by various light sources, particularly on printing presses. It ensures that the printing and drying processes are subject to optimal quality control.
The joule meter can measure wavelengths in the range of 250–410 nanometres, with an optimal spectral output at 330 nm.
When the number of additional rays of light entering during the exposure cycle is taken into account, the relative value is factored in.
Due to the irregular radiation distribution of UV light sources and the fact that different manufacturers employ different design configurations, different readings may be obtained under the same measurement conditions.
