I. Scope of Application:

The light has a spectral range of 350 nm to 450 nm, with a main peak at 365 nm. It is suitable for surface coatings in applications such as printing plate making, colour printing on flexible packaging, the furniture industry, decorative materials, paper varnishing and the printing of tin cans, as well as the ageing of polymer compounds,

It is also an ideal light source for photosensitive flame retardants and photosensitive character inks used on semiconductors, printed circuit boards, signage and the like.

II. The applicable sectors are as follows:

1. UV printing: offset, letterpress, flexography, inkjet, rotary, screen printing, ink, and printing involving adhesive, hot-melt or permanent bonds

2. UV coating: for CDs; for electronic components such as printed circuit boards and resistors; for film coatings; for photoconductors; for wood and plastics; and for UV varnishing of three-dimensional objects made of plastic, glass and wood

3. UV disinfection: Sterilisation and disinfection of food packaging materials, the air, packaging films and stoppers

4. UV bonding: for DVDs; electronic components, displays and sensors; for glass, such as jewellery and furniture; plastic parts; precision mechanical components; medical technology, such as needles and catheters; optical components, such as lenses, prisms and light guides – UV curing

5. UV encapsulation: UV light curing in the glass industry, for electronic and mechanical components, in medical technology, in the manufacture of optical products, and in stone processing.

IV. Characteristics:

The high-intensity ultraviolet high-pressure mercury lamps manufactured by our factory range in power from 200 W to 20 kW. They all utilise lamp envelopes made from pure quartz glass with high ultraviolet transmittance, produced by Siemens Osram of Germany and GE of the United States, as well as imported tungsten-molybdenum materials. During operation, the lamps emit ultraviolet radiation at a wavelength of 3650A.

Having passed testing by the National Light Source Testing Centre and meeting corporate standards, these lamps offer accurate data, high intensity and a long service life, making them the ideal light source for UV curing machines and various UV curing applications. They can also be custom-designed and manufactured to meet specific user requirements.
