Investigation to be reviewed:

As all electronic components—particularly the light sensor—tend to deteriorate over time, it is advisable to check them once a year. Furthermore, after replacing the battery, it should be checked for proper functioning.

 

Shelf life: two years from the date of purchase.

 

How to use:

 

1. Press the ”ON” switch on the 150 joulemeter; ”0‘ will appear on the display.

2 Place the Legen Joulemeter Flip on the conveyor belt. (The sensors are mounted on the rear of the device and can withstand higher temperatures.)

3. Subject to the instrument being positioned along the conveyor belt, the result can be read from the front. UV energy is displayed as: mJ/cm²

4. To set up a new measurement procedure, you must first switch off the instrument and then switch it back on. The display will reset to ”0‘. Then proceed in accordance with Section 2.

 

Note:

 

1. Avoid shaking the device.

(2) Do not look directly at or through a UV lamp (whether via refraction or reflection), and ensure that no part of your body is exposed to direct UV light.

The Joulemeter 150 is used to measure the UV energy emitted by various light sources, particularly for use with printing presses. Ensure that the printing and drying processes are controlled to achieve the desired quality.

 

The Joule Meter can measure the spectral range from 250 to 410 nm, with the best spectral output at 330 nm.

 

When additional incident light enters during the exposure cycle, the relative values are calculated.
