Instructions for use

1. Before use, set the instrument’s switch to the “ON” position; the LCD display will show a reading of “0” mJ/cm². Unless required for a specific purpose, please reset the reading to zero before each measurement.

2. If your process specifically requires it, you may also carry out repeated measurements. There is no need to reset the instrument to zero after each measurement; the final reading displayed on the instrument will be the cumulative total of the repeated measurements.

3. Once the measurement is complete, set the switch to the “OFF” position to switch off the instrument promptly; following this procedure correctly will effectively extend the instrument’s battery life.

Points to Note

1. Please avoid shaking the instrument vigorously or dropping it;

2. Once each measurement is complete, please switch off the instrument promptly and return it to its packaging for safekeeping;

3. When taking measurements, please do not look directly at the UV light source and avoid exposing bare skin to strong light;

4. When taking measurements, please avoid exposing the LCD screen on the front of the instrument to direct strong light or high temperatures.
