UV generated by mercury sources is \u201cbroadband\u201d, with output spanning the ultraviolet, visible and infrared spectra. UV LED sources generate UV within a relatively narrow band. The power levels, range of spectral options available, LED features and the form factor of the equipment have enabled LEDs to be used in new UV applications and, in some cases, to replace broadband UV technology.\n<p>EIT has developed a range of LED UV measurement instruments specifically designed and engineered with an L-band response to measure industrial UV LEDs accurately, reliably and with repeatability.
