\nAs all electronic components, particularly light sensors, tend to deteriorate over time, it is recommended that they be calibrated once a year. Furthermore, calibration should also be carried out following any battery replacement.

\nInstructions for use:
\n1. Press the switch on the 150 joule meter to \u201dON\u2019; the display will show \u201d0\u2019.
\n2. Turn the joule meter upside down and place it on the conveyor belt. (The sensor is fitted to the rear of the instrument and can withstand high temperatures.)
\n3. Once the instrument has passed through the conveyor belt, the results can be read from the front. The UV energy will be displayed as: mJ\/cm\u00b2
\n4. Before carrying out a new measurement procedure, you must first switch off the instrument and then switch it on again. The display will reset to \u201d0\u2019. You may then proceed as described in step 2.
